Note that Qualleish words can have spaces, so you may need to search for a "phrase" instead of a single word.

Qualleish pronunciation is similar to English, but with the following notable differences:

• A is always pronounced as /a/ (like the "a" in "father") (exceptions below) (unlike English where it can be pronounced a lot of different ways)
• G is pronounced as /x/ (like the Dutch "g" in "dag")
• X is pronounced as /tʃ/ (like the "ch" in "chat")
• I is pronounced as /ɪ/ (like the "i" in "sit") unless it is the last letter of a word, in which case it is pronounced as /iː/ (like the "ee" in "see")
• Y is pronounced as /iː/ (like the "ee" in "see"), unless it is the first letter of a word, in which case it is pronounced as /j/ (like the "y" in "yes")

Note that the pronunciation of vowels can be longified when they are at the end of a syllable, for example:

• Xilang (pronounced /tʃiːlaŋ/) means "to disappear" (the "i" is long because it is at the end of the syllable ("xi"))
• Din (pronounced /dɪn/) means "to go, get" (the "i" is short because it is not at the end of the syllable ("din"))
